an insurance agency?

like a smaller, private owned place where you deal directly with your customers?

im kinda interested in working in insurance (but not at some cubicle in some huge building) more on the privately owned agency level but i dont really know how to get started.

 

Two of my friends work for Mercury, they're both adjusters. What did you want to get into?

 

well, my insurance agents (for car insurance) have their own little agency, they "sell" insurance for a few different companies, everything from auto, home, renters, life etc and that seems like a great gig. i have a pretty good grasp on how the insurance world works and i like dealing with people (for the most part) also want some independence so i was thinking it might be a good idea to work for someplace like theirs and eventually maybe open my own
