Default ***PICS!! From my Lake George NY trip inside.

Some of you may know I was supposed to race my Jeep on the ice this weekend at the Lake George Winter Carnival. Unfortunately, for an unknown reason, the 4X4 event was cancelled.

They still held the motorcycle and ATV races. I managed to make my way onto the ice alongside the people who did race, without my racer registration.

Pics are variable, some scenic, some action, some fun....ENJOY!

A little backyard rock fun.

Daylight ice fun. We took my uncles Land Rover out at night and had some fun with nobody around on the ice.

No I guess not. It had to be very thick. If you saw how many cars were on that ice you'd go It was like a parking lot on ice.

Made you think about it though, cause closer to the edge...there was water...no ice except a few spots :dunno:

They actually drive over quite a few frozen lakes in Canada (semis that is).

Sometimes they fall through though.

Nice pics. Didnt know there were so many people that should be professional photographers on here. Then again, maybe you guys are. I always would be scared about the ice breaking... but I guess, they have done it for quite a while, I would just leave the windows down.
