i havent played around with it much, but pics come out decent with a steady hand and flash on

most point and shoot has the mode now... the pictures are ok when outside and with enough lighting. Problem with taking pictures in burst mode with the flash on is the charging time.
I do agree that if you're looking for good results in continuous shooting you should go with a SLR. Quicker flash charging, better/quicker lighting reading and continuous focusing(even predictive focusing) are all part of making a nice series of continuous pictures.
