Default thermal grease.

Im building my new computer right now and was wondering how much Artic silver 5 am i supposed to put on the AMD chip? and how am i supposed to spread it evenly? RESPOND ASAP. and for the XP-120 are the heatpipes supposed to face the front of the case or are they supposed to face downward?

the heatpipes can face any which way direction for the xp-120.

And you put a minimal amount of thermal paste on the chip, you don't want it squishing out of the sides or anything.

thank you so much. TY for removable mob trays! my videocard is almost as long as the motherboard...ive never seen such a big card

u might want to put some on.. and then take it back off to see if you're getting proper coverage, cleaning it with rubbing alcohol.

If he puts an ample amount on there and covers *most* of the thing, he'll be fine.

The thermal paste isn't going to make, or break, his cooling patterns.

another question. Can i put the RAM in DIMM's 2 and 4 since 1 is covered by my heatsink?

That thermal grease wasn't easy for me to get right. Too much is bad, too little is bad. You have to get the thickness just so...

Why the huge HSF? Are you into overclocking?
