also, "Playstation" is pretty much a household name as far as video games go. Kleenex = tissue ... Coke = cola ... 80's & 90's Nintendo = videogames ... now it's Playstation

i'm guessing no, but who knows what they'll add to top Sony.

you won't see a dramatic difference in games from Xbox 1 to Xbox 2 right away. it takes a LONG time for programmers to get used to the new hardware, capabilities, and techniques.

expect launch titles of Halo 2.5, Madden 2006, Dead or Alive 4, and an updated SegaGT

I too like the sound of XBOX NEXT...but supposedly, theres one hell of a sweet automotive game coming out for XBOX with a vast range of aftermarket tunable parts??? Maybe a repost...

i was just wondering cuz youre able to use your PS1 games on the PS2..yes i kno they are different brands...but still...i think it would be good...so then they dont have to get rid of the old games if they get rid of the old X ya know? makes sense right?

my god, you're stupid.
yea, that was uncalled for.

alot of the newer generation systems offer backwards compatability ...

PS2 supports PS2
Gameboy advance can play Gameboy games
NintendoDS can run Advance titles

why not Xbox on Xbox 2? it's another good selling point and gives a sense of "value" to parents and potential buyers.

i wouldn't see why not. it's completely possible considering Xbox 2 will be basically the same hardware as Xbox 1, but faster.
