Nice size of a TV, but it isn't a true 1080 monitor... That alone would prevent me from getting it.

So it's not the size, it's how you use it?

Exactly

The telltale sign is this
* High Definition format LCD display
* 1280 x 720 LCD resolution
* Virtual HD™ 1080p allows HD display and full time progressive scan
* Learning AV NET
* Photo Memory Card PCMCIA slot
* Anti-reflective high-contrast shield
* HD Digital Window split screen picture-in-picture
* DVI-HDTV Digital Video Input
* Illuminated preprogrammed remote control
The maximum that this TV can display is 720p, which while nice, isn't as fine in detail as 1080i and is CERTAINLY not a 1080p display. All it does for it's "Virtual 1080p" is probably take 1080i signals and downconvert them to 720p. It probably will have cruddy standard def display as well. I'm also not a fan of automatic 3:2 pulldown and DVI inputs, but my current TV has both of those as well h: It will be nice for football and sports, ok for slower pictures that could have higher def on a true 1080 display, and ok for video games (1080i will be showing up a lot in the future of console gaming)
