I liked The Professional...never seen Leon.

Its the same movie. Leon is the european title for it. Only difffernce is a few more scenes that develop leon and matilda's relationship. But that was not acceptable for the US release.

is Leon: THe Professional the international version? I am trying to get it as I am a big Jean Reno fan. I love Ronin and Wasabi is good as well (more of a fun movie)

Yes. The one i have is the international version and the title is Leon The professional.

watch la femme nikita, jean reno plays the "cleaner" essentially the same role, but that sorta where leon's character was formed

luc besson i believe is involved with both films.
i like the directors style, leon is a great film.
