Some older DVD players can't play anything but regular DVD's, so beware of that.

Most new DVD players play CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, etc. etc. etc. and in that case, a regular VCD will work fine.

You basically take an .MPEG and burn it as a "video CD" using one of a million video conversion/burning utilities out there.
