I was told by someone not to use Windex. What about something I can find at AutoZone and such that is specifically for it?

Just use water with a drop or so of Joy dishwashing soap and a soft towel or even a paper towel. You clean windown tint with what you put it on with, so it won't peel off if it gets between it and the glass. If you use windex, it may peel off, considering it's got ammonia in it. You remove window tint with ammonia.

Don't know why people can't answer the question.

Windex, WITHOUT Amonia. Newspaper is good to use to dry- because the ink acts as a polish.
