Hey i have a 2003 civic si and i was wondering if there is anything i can do to the stock engine (without parts) to get more horsepower? i was told i could remove the power steering pump and get more power that way? does any body have suggestions? iv already got an intake on it, but thats all. Wow 20HP and 18 lb.-ft. of torque. You can get that doing NA and it'll be cheaper than that motor and you don't have to swap it out.

Look for Civic Type R or RSX Type R components such as intake manifolds, cams etc. for reasonable power gains.

If you have $3500 to blow turbo the bitch.

And yes, Si's have an electric power steering pump.

Those are Mustang chassis dyno numbers. Reads lower than a Dynojet. But regardless of peak numbers, look at how much lower in the RPM range the power is made. And it's still normally aspirated; so plenty more power can be made through things like headers and cams and all the other things K-series motors like so much.

wait..you got yourself a 2003 Si..and you basicly know nothing about the car? a 2003 Si is a badass car,how old are you? do you have anye xperiences with former cars? Just curious.what kind of HP gains are you looking for and why not willing to add/switch parts?

how about remove everything off the car. including hatchdoor, roof. just hack off anything you don't need.
