Default Scratch X .... work?

For some reason, my cf hood is the only thing on my car with swirls in it. It also has gotten a lot of what look like to be clear coat bubbles ( like little whit e dots everywhere) not sure how that happen. Now has anyone ever used that scratch x stuff? Does it work?

White dots? I'd need pictures.

It's gelcoated and well, not as hard as regular clearcoat.

I have never actually had scratch X do anything to scratches. I have never tried it out on swirls.

It works on light swirls. It is nothing too aggressive. Taking the time to polish works better.

Just wondering.

Do you think i can pay someone to really detail the outside of my car? My car is very clean, with absoultly no swirls scratches or dents/dings. But i would like the paint to maybe be 're' shined or what not.

Anyone know how much something like that would cost? Or should i not let anyone else touch my car? I was and wax it often, just never really like re-buffed it or clay bared it. paint is about a year and a half old.
