Default hey goober yeah you goober4life

glass polishing kit which consisted of a container of cerium oxide, a pink very fine powder and a big felt wheel that fit into an electric drill. The kit was really cheap so I didn't expect miracles.

ever heard of this stuff? It's for windshield. Know where I can buy some?

No, no I have not. But products containing cerium oxide to polish glass aren't uncommon.

In the past I haven't had a use for any glass polish. Usually when I'm polishing the rest of the paint, and if the glass is clean after washing, I'll go over the glass with the light polish/glaze.

Sometimes I wax it depending. h:

wax doesn't last long enough. I'm going to try this on the 330i windshield. It's not too pretty

Please be careful with using the drill as a machine for polishing. Most of them spin too fast + have very small pads=concentrated heat. On paint, this will burn. With glass, it could crack.

If you have an old PC pad you may want to try the glass polish with the PC first.

And if you want a long lasting (months and months), aquapel is bar none the best window protectant you can buy. Of course like applying wax to a car with poor paint, it's not going to do much.

But, if you haven't tried already, use some polish + the PC on the windshield and see what you can do before ordering, if you haven't already.
