I for one am not really one to argue against gun ownership itself. While I'd like for guns to go away completely, it's never going to happen and it's too much of a sticking point for those people with whom I tend disagree. But it's still interesting to look at the language itself.

Anyway, do you care to address your earlier claim that there is no gunshow loophole, since as far as I can see you haven't bothered to respond to any of the evidence presented to the contrary of your claim.

I still say, no loophole. do you care to acknoledge that 'the right of the people...' in all the amendments refer to the people, and that includes the second amendment. I'll get back to your gunshow loophole thing later when I have time to read and think and reply with more than quick whit

 

Right, but the second amendment implies that this is the only way to have a militia and that's why the people need to have guns, when in fact there are plenty of other ways we have militias.
