f u blockbuster.
so i returned a rented movie 7 hours after its due time ... due at noon, it was there by 7pm. they've been running tv ads for the past month saying ... "THE END OF LATE FEES" ... so i thought no big deal, right?
i go back a week later to get a game, and then ...
i have a $1.50 "handling charge" for the video returned past due. i was ready to go ballistic on the register person.
i asked:
Q. what the hell is a handling charge?
A. no answer ...
Q. what's the difference between a fee and a charge?
A. no answer ...
Q. why am I getting charged a handling fee? for returning the video late?
A. yes
Q. then isn't it a modified late fee?
A. no answer ...

remember, if it's some blockbuster exclusive movie they got early, they'll charge you something crazy like $100 per copy. it's not the street price, it's what they claim to pay for it.
