I live in the northeastern part of the bronx. Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to get to laguardia airport besides taking the 2 train to the m60 bus. Preferably a way to get there in about an hour besides through public transportation.

Take the 2 train to where ever you could catch the 7 train.
Then take the 7 train to 74th st / Broadway.
Go outside and there is a bus terminal on Roosevelt and I think its 73rd street. Its right on the corner. There should be a bus there that takes you to LGA. The bus is the Q33

I used to drive to LGA airport and leave my car parked in the street on one of those residental streets.
Then just walk across the highway ( overpass ) to the airport and thats it.
