a local exhaust/muffler shop (friend of dads) said he would do a custom exhaust system of stainless steel (factory bends) from header back for $210 with a life time warranty and he will weld his own stainless steel hangers on my car i dont really know if its a rip or not

that's a pretty good price for a custom setup.

that sounds like a pretty good deal. is your cat bad? I'd say leave it, if its working fine. you definately want a resonator or the car will be loud to the point it will cause hearing damage.

Yeah, I'm running without one and I have the stock muffler and exhaust otherwise except and test pipe and it is LOUD. It would be ridiculous with a louder aftermarket muffler. I still like it though.
