Got A ticket. Spelled name wrong? Get out of it?
So just got a ticket following my dad to the columbia river. I was doing 84 in a 60 or 65 trying to catch up with my dad. Anyways he spelled my name Johnothon Allmon and my correct spelling is Jonathan Allman. Now I know I was going pretty fast and dont mind paying it but cant I get out of it since he spelled my name wrong?
Whats ironic also is my brothers first ticket was following my dad. And well shit I almost made it 1 full year not getting a ticket!

All the previous posts are correct.
The error won't get you out of a ticket.
Hell, he could have wrote the color of your car as the wrong color, and type of car, and even had the license plate wrong and spelt your name wrong.
Of course, you could use all that as a case against his inability to properly judge the situation, and as a result, your speed.
But the errors themselves won't void the citation.
