Default Jiffy Lube ownz!

I went to get the oil changed in my vehicular today. I ended up getting it done at Jiffy Lube, $30 and they do oil/filter, check and top off all fluids, check tire pressure and set to correct pressure if needed, wash exterior windows, vacuum interior all the while functioning like a NASCAR pit team. Awesome job, they took pride in thier job and it was nice to see that. They have excellent customer service and won a new customer!

If I had to get my oil changed at a place like that, I'd rather take it to Oil Can Henry's than Jiffy Lube. They blow.

I reuse my old crushwasher most of the time. They don't need to be replaced at every oil change. If it leaks, then you have a problem.

:ts:

but every filter from Honda comes with a crushwasher. so i reuse accordingly. however, if i were to get aftermarket filters (like puralator) then i wouldn't replace the washer.

Whenever I got one, they would ask if I needed a crush washer...separate charge for it too. Now I'm using K&N filters instead of OEM.

Exactly. I've switched to K&N though...K&N > OEM fram/honeywell
