I'm sensing mixed signals here. But I don't see why you shouldn't do it as long as you can put it back in. I've never seen a CRX without it's carpets and junk so it's hard for me to say really.

Ha. At least you didn't post something like: I just ripped out the interior to my 88 CRX Si and I can really feel the difference in how it pulls. I like the way it sounds better too and I know I must have gained 10 to 12 HP!
