Default How to uninstall/disable Internet Explorer?

Add/remove programs doesn't give me the option of doing it and these damn pop ups are annoying the sh*t outta me. Firefox>IE ver.pickone

I.E. is an integrated part of Windows 2000/ME/XP.

You cannot remove it.

Go get a computer with a real operating system, that's step 1.

Download firefox, set it as your default browser.

thats what i was going to say. installing firefox will either cover up or not even solve the problem, if i'm not mistaken.

You're mistaking. I don't get FireFox popups, but I still get the annoying as hell IE popups even when IE hasn't been opened in days.
