go about getting over someone. My bf just broke up wiht a few weeks ago, and now its starting to hit. my friend at school said it take bout 3/4 time that u were together to get over someone. That means its going to take me about a year to get over them...(we were serious for 16 months)...is that accurate or just BS...? input, ideas...thanks

it takes as long as you want it to take. it's different for everyone. depends how serious you were or how you felt at the time of the breakup. it's also easier to get over it if you dont hangout by yourself and think about it. need to go out with friends and have some fun

just takes as much time as you need, dont depend on someone elses advice on that stuff, they were not in the same relationship as you, right? just try to go about it the way you want too, other wise you worry to much about what other people think, and you can get shit accomplished.

 

seriously... it's diffrent for every person in every relationship. There's no way you can put a time frame on it that will apply to everyone.

the sooner you realize how small and petty and completely and utterly insigificant your relationship with him was... you'll be done with it. Look at the big picture, the sun will come up, snow will fall, planets still spin, comets still do their thing... fat kids will still love cake. See... your feeling better already.
