It was a very bad idea for the original poster to start this thread, but it is not actionable other than the fact that it should have been locked as soon as it appeared.
Some of the subsequent replies to the original post, however, are actionable under the TOS.
You can talk about religion if you want, and you can even engage someone in a philosophical, fact based argument about a particular facet of a religion, faith or denomination.
However, you cannot offhandedly make fun of someone's religion, as that is specifically prohibited.
The members of a particular religion, whatever that religion is, form a protected class in the TOS.
