PCI-E is diffrent than PCI-Express

yes it would have been much less confusing if they just picked a diffrent letter... but they are very diffrent. You probably have PCI-Express.

click you thinking of PCI-x and pci-express?

Ultra but only if you have MB capable of SLI.

I could be wrong but I read that PCI-X and PCI-E are both the same and not PCI-Express.

I'll have to look around for the articles.

the GT. The ultra needs two molex connections and requires a lot bigger power supply. Mate up the GT with a NV5 VGA silencer from arctic cooling and enjoy a quiet card that can be overclocked to Ultra speeds in many cases.

oh cool. i'm still on AGP. i'm upgrading from a 9800 pro 128 MB to the GT card specs that were mentioned. If you have the cash, then by all means go for the ultra, but I don't really think the cost is justifed in real world gaming. What games are u buying it for.
