Relevance is irrelevant
I think there comes a point where traditions should be changed up a bit. It seems like some of the money (probably millions) that was spent on this ceremony could have been better spent elsewhere.
But despite what anyone says we all know there is a God, we love our freedom and most Americans wouldn't be too happy if they had to live with a little less.
I don't really like all this big-wig crap, but I accept the fact that that's just the way it is.
