Check Condition error using DVD Decrypter
I'm trying to rip a DVD with DVD Decrypter but I keep getting the same error. And it always happens at 6%. The error says "Check Condition", but the DVD is mint, it's BRAND NEW.
Here is the strange part, I borrow the same disc from a friend and tried to rip it, same error, and again at 6%.
I've probably burned over 100 DVDs without encountering this, any idea what is wrong?

The forgotten, along with a few others (such as some versions of Walking Tall and RE:apocalypse) use sony's new arcCOS copy protection. There are dummy vobs that intterupt the ripping process, but they aren't encountered during normal playback of the movie. You can use anyDVD to overcome this. Anydvd is a prog that stays in your system tray that is activated when you want it, or it can be activated automatically when a dvd movie is in your computer.
anydvd has a 30 day fully functional trial. or, you could get the liscensed version the other way :rick:

Does it give you an option to ignore the error?
Some DVDs just have a few bad sectors, regardless of whether they're mint or not. One mint DVD I put it took 24 hours to rip into an ISO with Decrypter because of bad sectors. Just go into the options and tell it to ignore read errors automatically, and retry only once per read error.
