Jan 17, 2005 — NEW YORK (Reuters) - Satellite operator Intelsat Ltd. has lost a satellite following an unexpected electrical power problem, less than two months after electrical problems ruined another satellite.

I got so see the effects of this and the one two months ago first hand.. not pretty. when these things happen it makes a mess of a paper trail.
