Default Aaah perspective... wonderful thing

Stolen from the local autox board, who stole it from the ALMS board, who stole it from the current issue of Autoweek. (Yes lots of stealing. )

From the "But Wait, There's More..." page of Autoweek Mag (1-10-05):

Corvette C5-R driver Johnny O'Connell remembers his first race in the production car-based machine, fresh from experience in purposed-built prototypes, and teamed with both Dale Earnhardts. "I was having a lot of trouble adjusting from the prototypes in qualifying. The Corvette was a whole different ballgame. But at the press conference after qualifying, there was Dale Sr saying how he just loved the Corvette. He said, 'This Corvette stops when I tell it to stop and turns when I tell it to turn. It's just amazing.' And all I could think was, 'My God! How bad must a Winston Cup car be to drive?'"
