Default The water here is freakin horrible!

Like the title says, one thing I definitely didn't miss about Madison is its crappy water. Back home the tap water is fine and dandy. I drink it all the time.

But here in Madison, I need a Pur filter pitcher for drinking water, my dishes come out of the dishwasher with splotches all over them unless I use Jet Dry, and I need to use those Clorox hockey puck things that add bleach to the toilet water just to keep the bowl from getting covered in rust stains in less than a week.

Anyone else live in an area with really crappy water?

The water in SE Texas sorta sucked. In Galveston, it seemed like it all tasted sorta salty. At the lakefront condo, the water would get really rusty from time to time, ruined a few loads of whites before I figured out that if you open the fire hydrant for a minute or two, it flushes out all rusty water

Water here is fine I guess. We never drink out the tap anyway. If it doesnt come from a bottle, it was boiled previously. h:

water filter built into the refridgerator = awesomeness...although water in the northwest is some of the best in the country anyway so tap water still tastes good.

The water here is great, unlike SoCal's water, it's too hard. I usually drink from the tap. California has pretty strict regulations on the quality of their water.
