Default NFL Playoff picks...

AFC:

Colts vs. Pats
Jets vs. Steelers

NFC:

Rams vs. Falcons
Vikings vs. Eagles

I pick Colts vs. Steelers for AFC champ and Rams vs. Eagles for NFC. I picked the colts because I think there is goin to be a shootout at Gillette Stadium, the Steelers because the Jets aren't that great IMO, Rams over Eagles cause they beat the Seahawks the seahawks are very good :fawk:, and the Eagles cause Vikings defense lacks Who are your picks for the conference champs?

Colts vs. Pats
The Pats are scared. It's to the point where they won't even cover the field during the week, trying to make it all sh!tty for Sunday. There's no stopping Peyton Manning.

Jets vs. Steelers
Steelers will run all over the Jets. Chad Pennington has a stomach virus and won't be 100%. Even at full strength, they'll get mopped.

Rams vs. Falcons
The Rams have a shot at this. Contain Vick and make him throw. Vick has a pretty weak passing game, just don't let him run a hole though you. Sounds easier than it is though. It'll be a close game and I'm going with STL by a field goal.

Vikings vs. Eagles
Vikings will take this. Culpepper to Moss > McNabb to some guy. Owens was such a weapon / distraction for D's ... now he's gone, concentrate on McNabb and make him beat you. Culpepper and Moss need career days to win though. Vikings by a touchdown.

I'm with you except for the steelers going to the big game. The grounds keepers at Gillette Stadium actually forgot to cover the field when it rained and snowed pretty bad this week. the field is going to be a mess and it going to be a mud bowl. the Pats linebacker corp have a few tricks up their sleeves for the colts. Special teams is going to win the game for the Pats. Bethel Johnson is going to run a return back for a TD.

I think the Jets have a shot to beat Steelers but the Steelers will end up winning. Their D is just too good.

Eagles vs Vikings should be a fun shootout to watch. Eagles win

Rams vs Falcons Alge Crumpler is the star of the game and the Falcons move on.

the Pats are definately not scared of the Colts. in Bill we trust. Bill is going to get into Peyton's head like he always does. Peyton will throw at least 2 picks and the Pats will return one for a TD. Rodney Harrison, and the secondary will bend but they won't break. the linebacking corp will be droping into zone trying to cause turnovers, that's what they do and that's why the Pats will win.
yeah the pats are scared.

almost every NFL team covers their turf during the week. why do the pats leave theirs exposed this week? because Peyton Manning lives in a dome and is coming to town.

i know it's a part of home field advantage, but if you're relying on turf conditions as a part of your defense, you're scared.

Intresting Steelers story. Brian St.Pierre(3rd string backup steelers QB) lives in Mass and a couple of my buddies know him. St.Pierre was in a local bar last week talking to my buddy that even the Pats make it to the championship game they can't win in Pittsburg. My buddy has a bet going that if the Pats make it to the superbowl that St.Pierre will have to come over to my buddies place and watch the game with a bunch of Pats fans. I'd love to be in the presence of a Steelers player eating humble pie watching the Pats. My buddy said if the Pats lose that he'll buy drinks for St.Pierre at the bar as they watch the Steelers.
