He got it in Santa Maria county, which is a good thing. If it was in SB or San Luis, he would have been slammed with a huuuuuge ticket. Also, my speeding ticket was in the same county in nearly the same circumstances, and I got my fine significantly dropped by writing a letter to the commissioner, so I think I'll help him with that

Haha No i didnt get a ticket for talkin on the phone. I had my ear piece on. I got a ticket for doing 80 in a 65. I was on the way back, only 60 miles into my 340 mile trip and i saw the CHP. I knew he was gonna pull me over becasue i was oviously going over the limit. I thought it was actaully 70 though becasue it changes from 65 to 70 back and forth. Either way its cool i knew i was speeding, and what sucks is i'm about 2 months shy of being eligable for traffic school. But hopefully like charles said i can write a letter and get traffic school so i dont get a point on my license.

i "avoided" getting pulled over last night...
was going 70 in a 55, it was a 65mph zone that switched, i just never slowed. but i was the one in the fast lane leading people or whatever. then i looked in my mirror and saw flashing lights coming up quick. so i got over a few lanes into the right lane, and he came up almost behind me and i took the next exit. it was dark/rainy, so i guess he didn't quite know which car he was looking for. he could have gotten behind me, but as soon as he went past the exit i saw him hit his brakes cause i guess he realized it was me. scared the poo out of me.. then i had to find my way home from an exit i had never taken before.
