I dunno if I could get in trouble for saying this, but:

who else works at a help desk? I just spent 10 of the last 20 minutes trying to get a woman to double-click on "My Computer" :wtc:

thats so bad. My mom doesn't know anything about computers either. She knows how to sign onto AOL and now she thinks shes a genious. It's so hard for me to explain things and teach her because it's just habit to me. i just know what to do. So frustrating. h:

Same thing with me. I'd be showing my mom how to do something and she'd constantly ask what I was doing. Doing shortcuts and simple shit seem so second nature that explaining it all makes me :loco:

That's when you advise them that they probably shouldn't have a computer at all.

I'm a 2-handed user (stop it you sick bishes), so my left hand's on the keyboard doing keystroke commands while I simultaneously use the mouse. It confuses everyone except for people actually experienced with computers. My poor mother can't even watch the screen when I use the computer, cause the things happen so fast she gets vertigo
