initial thoughts from car and driver, but they have yet to do a full road test.

would you pick the 6 over the MR EVO, or STi? per the article Mazda claims its not as hardcore as the EVO, and STi. It would be a tough decision, I'd choose the 6 or the STi. I wonder what the aftermarket will have in store for the new 6.

if i wanted go with something turbo'ed, i'd still pick an Evo or STi.
the 6 will have more room, but if I wanted something with more room and turbo'ed ... i'd go with a new legacy.

It's more of a competitor with the Legacy GT than the Evo or STi.

mazda scares me though....i had nothing but problems w/ my wife's old 626 (was a 99) and i couldnt get mazda to fix it to save their lives. In general, our 2 hondas are nicer cars all around. I saw too much of ford in the mazdas, and those parts are the ones that broke....

i'd take the legacy, but i'd wait a year to let subaru work out the bugs.
the first run WRX's had 30+ service notices on them. the following year, around 10.

I'd definately choose the STi out of the 3 listed. I do think the Mazdaspeed 6 will be nice but if I was buying a Mazda (and I was rich) :lmao: ...I would get a mazdaspeed rx7 imported over here!!!
My boyfriend's aunt just bought a legacy in November or December and its really nice....the gauges are really awesome...

When the car is off, the cluster is completely black..it looks nice.
