Dell Home has code ?5GW2GXN115$V$ for $500 off $1599 on select Inspiron Notebooks. Excludes Inspiron 9200 or 1000. Coupon code expires after first 5000 uses. Exp 1/14/2005 5:59am CST.

$500 OFF. Meaning if you buy a $1600 notebook you only pay $1100...

its the employee purchase program. they have some pretty decent discounts. my company has an account setup with dell, that's how I got a killer discount.
