Default cap problem/question (1 farad)

I have a Rockford Fosgate 1 farad cap that I used to have hooked up to my system in my old accord. Whole system was taken out of there and put into my Integra. Anyway, it's been a while sitting in storage (2years maybe) but I can't charge the cap anymore.

Maybe the CHRG1 circuit board is bad but it's not giving me a light like it says it should. Is my cap dead?

If I use a volt meter across the caps poles I get only about 0.1 volts but it does read it consistantly.

i'd just hook the cap first to try to charge it...but you are almost correct. you are better off using a distribution block. it T's off of the positive side before the fuse to the cap. safer that way.
