BTW, did anyone else's Metroplex break at the waist? When I was a kid, another kid told me his did too. Just wondering if it was a common problem.

Yeah, I have the diaclone mirage, wheeljack and 2 hounds (1 MISB) all complete with the missles on the sprue and stickers on the sheet. I started collecting toys a few years ago when my wife brought me back a the first re-issue hotrod. Ever since then I lost my mind and have almost every JDM reissue they put out. I have almost 2 of everything, one to open and one to keep MISB, though most have never been opened. Then I started buying G1 originals and macross stuff, and things got out of hand.

 

you've pretty much inspired me to catch up with all the US re-releases. imma head out to a toys r us and do some damage really soon. :thumbup:

this is going to get ugly. i just know it.

i never really got into the other types to transformers besides G1 ... but the freaking alternators and energon figures sucked me back in. energon is a hommage to G1 and they're making toys with G1 names and colors, i think that's what did it.

i couldnt get back into the newer stuff. the japanese rereleases and the commemerative editions are the only ones i go coo coo for coco puffs for. the alternators do look really nice...but i controlled my impulses and urges...so far so good :chuckles:
