why didnt any of you warn me it would explode?
I was getting a hunkering down in the depth of my stomach and I needed a snack. I look in the fridge and to my liking I see eggs and deside to eat a hardboiled egg. I didnt want to wait for water to boil so I threw it in the microwave and pressed 5min.
5min later I burn my self trying to get the egg out so I bring it to the sink and run cld water to cool it off. when I started to peel it I could still feel the egg was warm and I look down and tear and piece of shell and BOOM! the egg explodes throwing hot egg on my bare chest and on my bare feet. I saw the entire thing and a piece flew in my eye's, oh it was terrible I tell you. I wish this apon no man for his egg to explode like this one did.
what went wrong?

Flash boil!
It's something that happens when you introduce impurities into water that is over 212 degrees Fahrenheit. See pure or distilled water can be heated to over 212 without boiling, but once you introduce some kind of minerals or impurities :BOOM: Lots of steam and boiling water go nuts. Very unsafe for experimenting with.
I think what you experienced was about the same thing.
