Not my video work so you gotta ask the owner of the vid.
Deal on the rig is...The driver borrowed the rig from a friend and took it for a spin at this competition. Every stop costs points so the rev was probably due to having to keep forward motion and some seriously low gearing. If they even move forward an inch then the points are not deducted. I assume unfamiliarity with the machine and worrying about points combined with angle and rear steer all add up to the reason for the revving.
