any MLB fans out there?
thoughts on the off season so far?
the Beltran for $119M for 7 years + an $11M signing bounus to the Mets ... :screwy: ... don't mean to piss NY fans off, but Shea is a dump and the team is horrible. this has ARod to the Rangers written all over it.
can't forget Pedro for $53M ...
if the Mets are nothing but a .500 team ... the GM is going to get executed.

no question that they have the power at the plate.... shef, matsui, jeter, a-rod, giambi (???) posada .... shall i go on?
last year, their biggest handicap was on the mound. and not just coming from a "yankee fan" but from a "baseball fan" i havent seen much happening in boston as far as blockbuster moves. as always, id expect bosox to be the biggest threat.... but if this doesnt work, i agree if this doesnt do it, i dont know either, i just know that the boss might end up firing everybody and starting from scratch :ugh:
