I read somewhere that all broadcast and cable channels will convert to HD format. And that all the old TV owners are going to be the sucks when they realize it.
That's why I got a tv I've had since 95, and wont buy one that isn't HD.

Yea by like 2008 or something all channels must broadcast in HD format, its fed law i think.

There will be a converter that will convert the HD into regular cable, so people won't need an HD set to watch cable. It's already being developed.

PS2 component cables... they cost like $20 or something...

1080i sucks. Believe it or not, 720p is a much prettier image simply because the image is not interlaced.

i didn't know ps2 could support 1080. i didn't think it even supported 720p...
