does the ipod charge if its plugged into the usb port?
cause the battery thing is moving like its charging.. i need to charge it and put songs on it

I have a cradle that connects using both.
It will only charge if i have it connected to my firewire port. Not the usb port.
but if i hook up either a firewire cable or usb cable directly to my ipod it does charge.
