Default why is there a Expiry

date on Kraft Mac & Cheese? what can go bad in it? I have so many boxes but they are 1 year passed expiry... cant be bad right?

I love the term expiry...

I only heard it for the first time a couple months ago. I was watching some British cooking show. At first I was all "what the hell is expiry?!?!?"

Then I realized he was referring to what we U.S. folks call the expiration date, and the show made a lot more sense. :usa:
