Default dual monitor help

ok, finally got the dual setup going. got some questions now. i have it setup so that i basically extended the OG monitor to the extra one. so the left monitor is the primary and the right one is the extension.

first off, is it possible to play a dvd and have it use both monitors? even when there would be a line in the middle where the monitors meet.

second, i changed the wallpaper on one monitor and both change to the same thing..is it possible to have different wallpapers for each monitor?

third, is there a way to just make both monitors one big widesceen monitor? so that my taskbar would extend all the way across both monitors?

im a dually nublet

DVD across both monitors:
If you're using two different video cards, definitely the answer is no. If you're using a single card with two outputs (called a "dual head" card) the answer might be yes, but I'm not positive.

Wallpaper and taskbar stretched:
I think there might be third-party apps that do this, but Windows won't do it for you.
