Anyone have a front mount projector or a movie room? I am in the preliminary stages of getting mine set up. Here is what I have so far.

Infocus SP4805 Front Projector
Samsung HDDVD Player with DVI Output
92" DIY painted screen
Sony Receiver
KLH Floor Speakers
Black out blinds
Couchs and other sitting devices

What I need:
Recliners
Ceiling mount for the projector
Surround sound system (building myself, I think it will be fun)
Movies
Ladies for the premier

Anything else you guys can think of?? I love this room. I did it all myself, I will post pics when I get the finishing touches on some small suff in the morning.

Here are some pics, but to save questions, here is some background.

I used to live in AL when I was in the military and after that, but I got a job offer back home and decided to take it. So I sold my house in AL and moved back in with the 'rents.

Not my choice, but with work, school, and working out, along with a girl every once in a while, I dont have time to deal with having a house of my own right now.

When we built the garage about 8 years ago, we never finished the upstairs, always saying it would be a studio or game room. Well that became my project once I got home, and I made it into my room. I have worked really hard the last couple of months to get it together, and now here it is. Not comepletely done, there wil be black receptacles all the way around, with black faceplates.

Since an unamed home improvement wharehouse screwed up putting in the carpet, the closet is not done, but will be on Thursday.

Let me know what you guys think.

 

how bout a shot of the quality of the screen when it's projecting, from sitting ersepctive to up close in lit-up as well as dim lit and black lighting? hummmmmmmmmmm

 

Well, with a projector, you want to have a completely light controlled condition, otherwise, comeplete darkness for the best picture. That is one reason that I picked the dark colors for the room.

I will get some pics of Shrek 2 tonight if I get a chance, but I am going to lift here in about 30 minutes, and then off to party after that. If I get a chance I will.
