i used to have those radio shack/tandy catalogs :chuckles:
my family's first real PC was purchased in 1990...16mHz 80286, 20mb hard drive, 640k ram, 4-channel ad lib soundcard, dot matrix printer, dos 4.1, and a VGA monitor.....for almost $3k!!!

I used to have a tandy 1000, believe it or not...It was my dad's, I started using it when I was like 5 to play games like Kindercomp...3.5 and floppy >

I don't even remember what I had first, but the monitor was crazy small. It was probably 9" and all I could do was play this Ape game where I stood on buildings and thre bananas at another ape. :dunno:
