i am prolly wrong on the whole LHD -RHD thing but thats what some of my buddy's say and GA70 is what shows up on my ownership papers for the ol' supra

here we go, this is what i learned:
A GA70 series is the same car with a 2.0 twin turbo inline 6 code named 1G-GTE
A JZA70 series is the same car with a 2.5 twin turbo inline 6 code named 1JZ-GTE
A MA70 series is the same car with a 3.0 larger single turbo inline 6 code named 7M-GTE
For chassis code:
The first letter is the engine G as is 1G-GTE
For engine code:
The first number is that engines generation.
1 being the first engine version of the same block
7 being the 7th engine version of the same block
The Letters after the number, and before the - is the engine block
G being a G series engine and so on
After the - .....
The G = dual overhead cams
The T = Turbo ( Z here would mean supercharged)
The E = electronic fuel injection
This is the same for all toyota.
The interior sitting arrangement has nothing to do with the chassis code. If you have a VIN number I could tell you everything
