Default Life Insurance

I was wondering if anyone here has any life insurence plans on their parents?
I have been thinking about getting one on my Dad and one on my Mom.

What are stipulations to these and how much would say $500,000 on each of them cost me per/Month?

I would like to do this very soon.

Depends on age, habits (smoking), health problems, etc. A 500k policy for your parents might cost a good bit.

Your dad's one will be a lot higher, I would recommend doing a search or looking in the phone book. Are your parents members of any clubs or societies because they can get pretty good discounts that way.

Depends on life expectancy from this point forward, and as stated lifestyle habits.

So aside from lifestyle the expectancy plays kinda like this:

Me at 33 expected to live to approximately 85 with my lifestyle has to pay less than someone 60 with the same lifestyle because it accrues over time.

As stated already it depends on their lifestyles, health and age.

I got my life insurance when I was 25. I'm paying $100/month, but I'm also more high risk since I autocross, do TKD, and have asthma. Whereas my wife is paying $75.
