do you have a CAI?

if you do, take it off before the insurance company sees it

we looked in all 4 of the spark plug holes and only one looked like it maybe had some water in it. One had some oil in it when we pulled the spark plug, but nothing sprayed out or anything. I just wonder what to do if the motor is screwed. I've got no money and insurance doesn't look like it's covered.

maybe I should check prices for new motors. maybe I can get a loan from the family.

I hydrolocked last christmas. next day we did about four oil changes straight. It started after a while. Then a few weeks later. on an onramp, My car dies and I hear a loud pop. I moved the car to the right with whatever momentum was left from accelerating before the pop. Turned off the engine and it never came back on. All i heard was grinding and popping whenever I tried to start the engine. When the tow truck came and lifted my car, I saw a small piece of aluminum underneath the car. I assumed it was from the block. At the shop that installed my new engine, they showed me my old engine and there was a hole right about where the third cylinder was. my assumption was right. I guess we didn't get all the water out. should've tried 5 or 6 oil changes.

sorry for the long post

perhaps I'll try it. my pops said he thought he heard something rattle inside the block when we moved the car a little bit. Gotta wait til the rain stops until I can really tell and get some work done on it. I noticed the CEL light was on, so I'm gonna have to check that out. hopefully knowing what it's bitching about will give me some more ideas.
