Helicopter or Cessna... which one?

I think the order goes: private, instrument, multi engine, commercial, rotorcraft. Remember just because you get the license does not mean you will be able to afford to fly, insurance is a bitch and they don’t want to talk to you if you don’t have at least an instrument rating with a lot of hours under your belt.

I logged 15 flight hours a few years ago during flight school could not afford to finish $$$$ big bucks.

I would take the Cessna pressurized or A Beechcraft twin pressurized maybe a turbo prop

from what I understood I can choose a heli license in FL right away.

especially because my company will pick up the tab.

You might be able to, But FL has nothing to do with issuing a license to fly. That would be the FED's the FAA

Fixed wing. It's supposedly easier and definately more practical.

Fixed wing all the way. Much more affordable and more versatile than the chopper when it comes to distance travel.
