Default Two great minds at work...

I go to Circuit City to purchase a 256mb cf card. As I stand in line, I overhear a 18/19yr old customer and the 22yr oldish CC employee..here's the conversation as I remember.

Cust: I just want to do an exchange.
Employ: We don't carry that item anymore.
Cust: Well, can I get a refund then?
Employ: Yes, but there is a 15% restocking fee.
Cust: How much is 15% of $1000? ( I quickly say $150 to myself)
Employ: (he grabs a calculator and takes about a minute to do the math) $150

I had a hard time keeping a straight face after this whole scene, good times. I truly worry about the youth of today :eek4:

I'd complain to the management and tell their asses to waive the 15% stocking fee since they don't have the item.

oh and yes, stupid people and their inability to calculate the basic tip rate
