Default What should I do?

I've already made plans to go to a party tonight. This morning my mom said that we are going to LA. So I called her and told her about my thing. She asked if I was going to take my sister along and I said no. I didn't tell anyone about the party, because I didn't want to take my sister. If you know me I'm very protective of her, and I don't want to take her to a party and have to watch over her all night (i.e. stay sober).

Now I'm feeling sort of guilty that I made that decision to go party without her. They are all going to LA for something, I don't know what...yet. But I feel like I owe it to my family to be with them, even though I will be somewhat miserable instead of shitfaced drunk.

Haha... James, I have this wonderful ability to make people feel guilty - and I got it from my mom. I can deal with the parent-less part, but I still feel guilty about not taking my sister. She's dying to go out.

She's actually older than me... She's 22.

But I've been beating up all her "suitors" since 7th grade
